Title: Some good southeastern Ohio Riding, Big Muskie Shovel pics included Post by: vw151 on October 05, 2009, 05:30:20 AM I got out riding Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Visited the lovely towns of Nelsonville, Glouster, Athens, Mconnolsville, Somerset, Chauncy, Zanesville, Granville, Junction City, Newark, Thurston to name a few. Some of the towns I was lucky enough to see on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday got out riding with a friend. Sunday some of us Desmohio guys met up with this buell ride, rode down to nelsonville with some harleys and goldwings BMWs and buells then broke off and did our own thing. Here are some pictures. I've ridden around there several times, and I think it's some of the best riding the state...well, minus the occasional deer/tractor/turkey waiting around the occasional blind turn.

The teeth are too much of an incline unless you were on some sort of dirt/motard bike. Rt. 76 is a real fun ride , lots of tight stuff and long straights to just let it all hang out. Hope you all had a safe trip.
