Does anyone know of any shops in the area that carry Suomy helmets? I'm looking for a new helmet and I want to try as many as I can. Unfortunately, it seems like the shops in my general area all carry the same 3 or 4 brands. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
this may not help, but , parts-unlimited carries them, so i would think that any shop that is a parts-unlimited dealer would have them...but i could be wrong.
Suomy used to be carried by Coleman's, but I am not sure if they still do. I honestly can't think of anyone readily that des. I would say try on what you can and use the web resources for reference, like webbikeworld.com which rates shapes of helmets in comparison to other helmets so you can know what models are similar to others. I think helmetharbor.com also does something similar, but not as clearly.
I believe Cycle World in Rosedale off of Hwy 40 carries Suomy, however, I can't say that their prices encourage shopping.

CPS Falls Church, but I would call first, new helmet models are coming out and it is the time of year when new inventory may not have arrived. Personally, there are better helmets for less money, but that's just MHO. - Gene
