That's some funny shit right there.
I'd be half tempted to frame some of them and hang them up on my wall.
[laugh] Those are great. My favorites were the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the banana.
So... when the bill is defaced, is it still legal tender?
I think it's illegal to mutilate money. Same thing with those (as my daughter calls them) "squashed pennies"...
That's correct.
You're not allowed to rip bills in half, draw on them, drill holes in quarters or put pennies on the tracks
;D
Yes, I know that the person that defaced them did something illegal but is the money still legal tender after said illegal act?
In other words, did Joe D! just throw away $20 to make Jackson a member of Kiss? Actually, did Joe D! throw away $14 + $35 + $10 + $60 = $129 for our entertainment?
I guess if someone was willing to take it as payment, it would still be worth $20...

If I repent...
will they forgive my transgressions?
By defacing money until it's unfit for circulation, I'm just doing my part to fight inflation. ;)
It's still legal tender, even if Hamilton IS rainbow brite.
"Joe D", eh. Kind of reminds me of "the wet bandits" from the Home Alone movie.
Leaving his sig on all the bills he's defaced?!
Hmm..what if a bunch of copycats started doing the same thing and left Joe D's calling card sig? [evil]
They were pretty cool though! [laugh]
Doesn't defacing imply "ruining"?
This makes the money more awesomer, and therefore should be legal.

Ah, I read it as Jody, a female name.

+1. In fact, it should be encouraged!
At a local pizza joint they have a machine that you put a penny in, turn the crank and it squashes the penny and stamps it into a soveiner. I wonder how they get away with that?
If you would stop thinking with your dipstick, and read the Google Answers page, you'd know. >:(
Sorry. Saw the avatar and couldn't resist. ;)

Sorry I read the first part of the GA page, then got ADHD and bored....
