After a few miles on my newly acquired Monster I realized that the factory mounting for the small headlight fairing was less than up to standard of the rest of my beautiful bike. I played with a few ideas but then I found that someone had already solved this problem. After a review of the http://www.poorducrider.com (http://www.poorducrider.com) website, a quick email, $35 via PayPal and I had a set on the way.
Today I put them on which took me a total of 10 minutes. I can tell you I am more than pleased. The fit perfect and work very well! These are a must have for your Italian girlfriend (or boyfriend for our Lady DUC riders).
Welcome. Pics please. :D
And a round of drinks as well. ;)
I was too cheap to pay $35 for that so I made a set myself. $5 at Home Depot. either way, it works. [beer]

I stuff the space between the screen and gauges with a hockey puck and a Desmo Times stand coaster thingie, handy place to store em and bucks up the screen nicely.
I put the Poorducrider fairing stays on a few years ago and like the look and the stable screen. However, I think the flapping screen did more to dampen the wind and reduce turbulence (on my head) at 100+. No free lunches.
IMO it is a MUST HAVE unless going naked.
I added on a MRA windscreen that is just lightly taller and has a bit of a flip up to it.
It allows me to ride comfortably at 80-85mph before I'm getting pummeled.... and I'm 6'2"
