Title: Houston convention this weekend (Oct 16-18) - call for volunteers Post by: gojira on October 13, 2009, 12:51:20 PM Fellow Duc fans, We're looking for ~10 volunteers to help out in a convention this weekend in the Reliant Center. Jobs are in various tasks of crowd control and hospitality: (1) Watching the doors to make sure people have their wristbands and credentials and to keep watch on doors not to be used (2) Making sure the lines are kept in place (3) Various tasks for the special Guests if they need something (4) Handing out flyers, freebies, etc (5) Staying overnight to keep guard of the convention space (2 nights) PM if interested! Begins Friday evening, runs all day Saturday and most of the day Sunday, with live bands for the costume party on Saturday night. |
