Title: Id like to move the regulator to the front.. any mounting ideas?

underneath the front triple? maybe relocate horn and put it on the frame?

Thats where they originally were. You can do it if you want, just good luck getting the wires over there.

Yeah, running the wires and soldering wont be an issue, just havent seen them up front before. Just making a list of some winter projects on the bike.

I think the MultiStrada or the Cagive carries it up front and in the fairing.  LT Snyder says it's a great location, plenty of airflow and high enough to be out of the rain and path of kicked up rocks.

I'd like to remount mine too, just somewhere other than under the seat.  There are brackets to mount it on the side in better airflow but they require the removal of the duct work between the crankcase and the air cleaner, which I'd rather keep. 

Then again, maybe the factory was being smart.  Italian electronics should not be out in the rain so they stuck it under the seat to keep it dry.   [cheeky]

Find an older monster and you'll see them mounted up there. My 2000 has it up front, a bit off to the left.
