Title: Hiring a bike in NZ
Post by: brimo on October 15, 2009, 01:00:29 PM
Well, changing jobs shortly and have a 10 day break, so NZud it is, anybody here hired a bike over there?
Will spend all the time in the South Island. Also open to some suggestions of "must see" places.

Thanks but I'd prefer not to hire a Harley.

I hired a GS500 in Queenstown from this place >>  http://www.offroad.co.nz/rentals.html (http://www.offroad.co.nz/rentals.html)  << Reasonable rates, VERY laid-back attitude, easy to deal with.  Didnt seem too bothered about the offical paperwork.  Not a very inspiring rental fleet though.  But some fantastic riding roads around there to make it interesting.  The road over the top from Queenstown to Wanaka is one not to miss [thumbsup]
