Title: Anyone using VMware Fusion to run VDSTS? Post by: DucHead on October 16, 2009, 03:58:05 AM I'd rather use my Mac for the diagnostic software, but VDSTS is PC-only. Is anyone out there using VMware Fusion to run Technoresearch's VDSTS on their Mac? Is there a better alternative (other than using a PC)?

I would think it should work. I can't imagine VDSTS is terribly CPU intensive. The only thing I can think of that would be an issue would be some hardware driver issues for the USB-to-Serial connectivity between a PPC and x86 translation. [threadjack] fusion 3 soon to be released. Don't buy the discounted fusion 2 when fusion 3 is just around the corner. [thumbsup] i am running win 7 on macbook pro intel core 2 duo 2.33 via fusion 2 and running good on 1.5g assigned to win 7 |
