OMFG....... I would have turned my leathers Bbrown! i second that! i thought it was all over for a moment! amazing how the two of them ran at better than qualifying pace for almost the whole race. pedrosa was a distant 3rd, as usual, i don't get it, they talk about the 4 main rivals, stoner, rossi, lorenzo and pedrosa,................pedrosa???? he's a sook, he won't push in the rain, he's useless on the brakes, and unless the bike is set up perfect and he's got an obvious advantage he's nowhere. and he's a sook! paul. note; observations are relative to the others he races against, not mortals! [thumbsup] Title: Re: Stoner the legend Post by: Ita on October 17, 2009, 10:25:43 PM wanna buy me one for Xmas? :-* You would have to be a very very good girl [drink] [beer] [wine] :-* [laugh] Ita Title: Re: Stoner the legend Post by: heatherp on October 17, 2009, 10:59:52 PM You would have to be a very very good girl [drink] [beer] [wine] :-* [laugh] Always am [roll] [evil] :o ;) :-*Ita Pity bout Jorge. Title: Re: Stoner the legend Post by: Serious Groper on October 17, 2009, 11:18:12 PM It was typical Lorenzo competitive insantiy.
He clipped the bike and should have backed off the gas to regain composure and racing line on the bike. Instead, he stays on the gas and tries to make it through turn 1 and falls over. Seen the same thing in other races. He is so damn competitive that his brain doesn't have that mechanism to say 'take a breath and lets try again next corner'. Such a shame as i really enjoying watching him race. Title: Re: Stoner the legend Post by: ducsport on October 18, 2009, 01:22:55 AM It was typical Lorenzo competitive insantiy. Yep, looked like an ROSTB to me. I was dirty he took Hayden out with him. How to chuck away your championship hopes on the first corner....too bad JLo. :'(He clipped the bike and should have backed off the gas to regain composure and racing line on the bike. I'm not sure our definitions of GOOD are the same... :-\ ;) But C'est la vie :-* As for Yourgay... He was never on the pace this week-end. I think Dangles would've toweled him up and maybe even Colin... :o That said I think the Doc will finish it up next week-end at Sepang... Doc = GOAT.. Ita Title: Re: Stoner the legend Post by: Spider on October 18, 2009, 10:49:57 AM a BIG thanks to MOSTRO for getting me a ticket for the day and a great breakfast with some really nice people. A great day!!! [thumbsup]
saw some fantastic machinery, decided the streetfighter looks OK in the flesh and finally got to experience 'grabby' clutch when trying to get out of the car park for 15 minutes...towards the end the bike obviously wanted to go. And big thanks to the girl with the lovely b cups who flashed me on the ride home! Great work!!! [roll] Competiveness without thought processes being engaged!! :( He is ok when everything is running ok for him, but as soon as he is baxk a couple of positions and is going to have to work with a bike that might not be exactly right seems to get him overstressed and he makes errors. GP is prestigous, but really, he would have been better off on a privateer bike, any, privateer bike. paul. That's sorta true Paul... But in any class of racing there is one person you gotta beat... Ya team mate!! He is the only one you can be truely judged against. If Chris had out perpormed Loris he might still have a job. If he had totally towelled Loris up he would have a job for sure... Going to Kawasaki is a death sentence unless they produced a good bike.... Ita |
