Got rid of my 2006 S2R 800 and picked up this 223cc road-trail. Just felt I wanted something completely different.

I had a great time hanging around DMF these last few years. Will pop back now and then.
PEACE!
We like dirt bikes too. [evil]
You went from an 800 to a 250? Man, that is a HECK of a change to something completely different!
Downgrade of the century.
:'( how can someone say goodbye to an S2R?

Easy, that's why they made the S4R. [evil]

easy..... you huck it over a canyon. [laugh]
the only problem is..... they don't want to go, so they pin you down on some rocks so you cant leave.
Got rid of one for the other!
There's always room for two...or three or four, etc
I suppose it wouldn't make a difference if he traded in a Honda CBR600 instead of a Ducati. He wanted a different type of ride in the form of a dirt bike.
I guess that's okay if you couldn't afford to own both and you prefer riding off-road more often or like riding an off-road bike on the streets.
But a street bike to a dirt bike is a big change. It's not like going from a cruiser to a sportbike. Even if they are different, both are still street bikes.
With that seat height you'll prolly need a pair of these:

;) ;D I'd need em', too [laugh]
Give the guy a break. He didn't say he married his sister, or traded it for a mini van.
What ever you ride, enjoy it. [thumbsup]
I'm down with those Gene Simmons boots. Talk about throwin' some sparks off your knee pucks. [evil]
The boots go with this pic - I'd need something that tall, too

Looks like a fun bike - enjoy it
I'd NEVER marry my sister but my cousin did [roll]

Damn over achievers [laugh]
That's pretty sweet, hope you're enjoying it. [thumbsup]
Post pics of you hitting the trails sometime. ;D
Nothing wrong with a good dual purpose bike, especially a Honda, more of these hardcore road riders should practice sliding a corner or two on a gravel road. hope You enjoy it as much as I enjoy My XR650... RAGE ON! [moto]
[coffee]
I just got my 06 S2R800 and I have a Honda CBR600RR [moto]
That bike is the RAV-4 of the motorcycling world. :P
I disagree, its a Honda so it should be the CR-V of the motorcycling world. [coffee]

Tango, your cousin married your sister? Were there a lot of missing teeth in those wedding photos?
I love my S2R800.
I just don't understand the logic man.
Can you backflips with that bike?

1: Good for you [thumbsup]
2: You don't have to, it's not yours. :)
Some here could ask you the same question...but why?
