Title: Carhenge Post by: somegirl on October 18, 2009, 04:14:44 PM Carhenge (http://www.carhenge.com/) is western Nebraska's replica of Stonehenge. ??? [laugh]
It was just named the 2nd wackiest attraction in the US by TripAdvisor (http://www.tripadvisor.com/InfoCenter-a_ctr.WackyGallery). (http://imgs.sfgate.com/c/pictures/2009/10/16/ba-Wacky_Nebrask_0500730332.jpg) The wackiest attraction in the US? The toilet seat museum in San Antonio featuring over 800 toilet seat lids but no bathroom. :-X (http://media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/media/photo-s/01/31/11/1f/barney-in-front-of-his.jpg) Title: Re: Carhenge Post by: ROBsS4R on October 18, 2009, 07:00:04 PM The wackiest attraction in the US? Kind of like the "Great Meteor Crater" further down 66. Yeah, 15 bucks to stare at a huge hole in the ground. No thanks. However, I am pretty much convinced that's where the moon landing was staged. Title: Re: Carhenge Post by: Porsche Monkey on October 19, 2009, 02:52:15 PM I've never even heard of the toilet bowl museum and I live in San Antonio. :-\

Route 66 was actually my old street address. Anyway, I went to that damn crater about 10 times to stare at it when friends and family came to visit. Once was enough. (lots of people thought it was vandalized, nope just the wind) Title: Re: Carhenge Post by: herm on October 20, 2009, 12:19:48 PM i think fridge-henge is the best yet!
