have an '03 620 Monster. Anyone else have seepage around the filler cap? It seems as tight as it will go and appears to be coming from the cap, it is plastic after all. I can't stand oil leaks on any vehicle. I'd be a horribly upset Harley or vintage Triumph owner.
I get a little extra road grime in that area from oil, but nothing that I would consider a leak. If you replace the cap upgrade to some billet bling.
There's been people (including me) who've had plastic filler caps that are badly molded enough that the "join line" between the two halves is too big for the oring to seal.
Pull it out and ease the oring off, and look to see if there's an obvious ridge on the sealing surface. A few minutes work with a dremel will often fix it up for you. (or use it as an excuse to get a cool oil temp gauge (http://www.monsterparts.com/pc/DTG/Accessories/DTG.html) like I did!)

+1. And you don't need a Dremel, I fixed mine in a few seconds with a pocket knife.

Just check out Corsair Industries for a billet one. And maybe pick up a little other bling along the way.
Moulding join line caused oil weep on mine, fixed with a small knife, still using original O ring

Yeah, but $20 vs. free for scraping away the molding line.
Okay $15 but when it's installed he can post it on Accessories & Mods. Really c'mon that stock thingy's a piece of trash just like the stock drain plug and beer tray.
Yeah, stocker is so wimpy I almost snapped the top off the first time I undid it. Why do they tighten it that much? Still, a new o-ring and a few scrapes got me to no more leaks. I'm poor, no $ for bling.

Yes! Must get bling! Thanks!
