I'm going to be Italian Spiderman for halloween this year. I found the perfect wig (almost) at Walmart today, the only problem is.... the color is wrong.
The wig is more of a rusty/blonde color and I need it to be brunette.
so.... I bought some hair color to match, and all went well untill I rinsed the wig out. the color rinsed out as well. So then I went out and bought brown dye thinking that should work..... same result. I even tried black dye hoping to reach a middle ground color...but no such luck. Other than spray on color, does anybody have any ideas on how to make color stay in synthetic hair?
all attempts at finding an inexpensive "brown" wig that matched ISM's hair style have failed.
Just tell everyone you went to the Beauty Parlor that day. ;D

Just leave it as is BP. Honestly, who the hell (other than DMF members and maybe some Italians) is going to know who you are anyway?!

if it's synthetic, try fabric dye instead of actual hair dye.
but be sure to buy enough. synthetics don't take color too well.
i tried to make a pair of white socks red, and they came out more of a salmon :-[
I tried both hair and fabric dye. I'll just be the california italian spiderman [cheeky]
