Title: Re: SoCo BMW/Ducati Employees Post by: DucatiDaveSoCo on October 20, 2009, 10:09:46 AM Beemer Bill is doing fine, but not wrenching anymore. He swings by the shop now and then. I'm curious to know who said that one of us went to Hymark, thats insane.

Title: Re: SoCo BMW/Ducati Employees Post by: Randimus Maximus on October 21, 2009, 12:48:14 PM That sucks.
Hope you land a new gig soon. Title: Re: SoCo BMW/Ducati Employees Post by: KRJ on October 21, 2009, 01:10:49 PM Not good news, hope You have a backup plan... Title: Re: SoCo BMW/Ducati Employees Post by: bonfy on October 21, 2009, 02:58:59 PM NEWS UPDATE!!! David (me) in the BMW/Ducati service department of PPM was fired today!! Oh No! How did that happen? Were you insubordinate to the HD mechs? Hope you find something soon. Is Keven carrying the whole shop now? Title: Re: SoCo BMW/Ducati Employees Post by: J_Slyter on October 22, 2009, 11:39:46 AM NEWS UPDATE!!! David (me) in the BMW/Ducati service department of PPM was fired today!! That really sucks and is not good news for loyal customers. You guys are the only reason some of us continue to use PPM's services. John L. Title: Re: SoCo BMW/Ducati Employees Post by: DucatiDaveSoCo on October 22, 2009, 01:49:44 PM Hey,
Nothing lined up as of now, not really the time of year to look for another mechanic job. Kevin is the only one for now, but dont be surprised if you see more changes in the future. It was great working with all our loyal customers, hope I did you well. David Title: Re: SoCo BMW/Ducati Employees Post by: bonfy on October 22, 2009, 03:43:31 PM Dammmmnnnnn!! You never had the chance to do me!!! [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]
Sorry, I wasn't planning to take my little monster to that HD shop anyway. I may use your services now that you are clear of there. Anson has been doing all my wrenching since the bike is not under warranty anymore. Hey, how come you never ride with us? Title: Re: SoCo BMW/Ducati Employees Post by: DucatiDaveSoCo on October 26, 2009, 06:45:04 AM Well, I dont even have a street bike, so that would make things difficult, lol. I ride the trails up in divide, rainbow falls etc... If you need anything service wise send me an email and we can work something out, that goes for anyone ;)
TTYL David (On a personal note, I understood why you guys never came in) Title: Re: SoCo BMW/Ducati Employees Post by: Smitch on November 04, 2009, 07:30:03 AM Everytime I go in there, another one has bitten the dust. Dave, my gut tells me that all the good guys from the old shop will be gone in 6 months to a year. After that, nobody will go there for service, and they're already not selling bikes because nobody wants to buy from them (not that we sold a lot back in on 21st Street). They'll drop both franchises in 1 to 2 years, guaranteed. Maybe sooner.
Glad we can still hit you up for service once all the good guys have moved on. I saw Kevin and Larry yesterday...needless to say it's not the same and they miss ya Dave. I hope Rob Brooks bank account is hemoraging money! Title: Re: SoCo BMW/Ducati Employees Post by: ducducgooseme on November 04, 2009, 09:23:26 AM Hey David, How about setting up a how to class for the group? I would love to kick in some $ to learn how to do belts, valves, etc.
fun time! Title: Re: SoCo BMW/Ducati Employees Post by: KRJ on November 05, 2009, 03:54:31 AM Good idea, DDGM, I would also be willing to provide the shop space and tools, altho' it's in Canon City, but it's not that far away. Possibly a bit of lunch on the grill...... [thumbsup] Title: Re: SoCo BMW/Ducati Employees Post by: bonfy on November 07, 2009, 12:11:18 PM I have sprockets and a chain that I was going to have Anson put on, but I would jump on the chance to be part of a garage day. We'll see which comes first, me getting the bike down to the Hood or the garage day. As long as I get it done in the off season. Still adjusting to that up here.
Oh, and here is a fun link to some incredible garages with a Where's Waldo twist thrown in. I think I saw a little Monster in one of them. http://www.luxury4play.com/automotive/36568-worlds-most-beautiful-garages-exotics-insane-garage-picture-thread-50-pics.html (http://www.luxury4play.com/automotive/36568-worlds-most-beautiful-garages-exotics-insane-garage-picture-thread-50-pics.html) Title: Re: SoCo BMW/Ducati Employees Post by: DucatiDaveSoCo on November 12, 2009, 11:16:41 AM Hey everyone, havent been on here in a while. It would be fine with me to show a couple of tips. Adjusting valves and replacing/ adjusting belts is hard to without the special tools, and shouldnt be done unless your trained and experienced. But checking the valves or even chain and sprockets like someone mentioned, would be something I could show how to do. Let me know people, my personal email is canadahockey2002@hotmail.com, or give me a call at 602 791 5801.
