Since I may never get my Aptera (over a year late in delivery now) Maybe one of these........... Title: Re: Nissan Land Glider Post by: Monster Dave on October 20, 2009, 09:50:33 AM Not my cup of tea, but the mechanics involved with building a long term, reliable, vehicle like that seems a little far fetched - there are too many moving parts that (IMO) would make it unfeasible to build. I like the idea though - talk about revolutionizing the driving experience! Cool cockpit! That wins my vote for cool design!
....all that being said, I'm still hoping that someone somewhere builds a real life light cycle. (http://www.wallpapergate.com/data/media/1499/Tron_Light_Cycle_27280.jpg) I'd take one of them! Title: Re: Nissan Land Glider Post by: Monsterlover on October 20, 2009, 09:55:53 AM ^
Those light cycles turn on a time. It's all frame geometry and tire profile though. ;D Title: Re: Nissan Land Glider Post by: Rob Hilding on October 20, 2009, 12:20:21 PM ^ Those light cycles turn on a time. I don't know if it will pan out, but it at least shows the Nissan engineers are thinking outside of the box. [thumbsup]
