Ok, so Scott Farr, supervisor of ILM, acknowledged yesterday that R2D2 had a cameo in Transformers 2. Here's what one website claims is the cameo moment captured from the Blu-Ray edition. What do you guys/gals think?

???
Little small to tell for sure in those shots.. but the shape and colors match up - so I'd say probably.
There's a long tradition of animators sticking stuff in films and shorts. Michael Eiseners phone number in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, that poster illustration for Little Mermaid, and on and on over the decades

I think that you're right that it does look pretty symmetrical, so much so that it's almost odd to see not to mention hard to deny that it could very well be our little droid friend.

you didn't watch it with the sound ON did you? no that movie is supposed to be enjoyed while high on meth, drunk out your mind, volume set to mute, and Metalica blasting on your surround sound system. and if you can manage to be receiving a hummer at the same time it will be all that much better.
I almost wanted to do my 848 to match ARCEE from the movie but then when i saw good pics of how the bike really looks like i changed my mind.
