I love streetfire too. They've got some amazing vids. Title: Re: Porche and some bikes Post by: WetDuc on October 22, 2009, 03:03:29 AM That guy gets waaaaaaay too close to the back of those bikes. He might certainly get the finger from me if I was on one of the bikes.
Title: Re: Porche and some bikes Post by: junior varsity on October 22, 2009, 04:04:17 AM Yeah. He also looked like he was flirting with disaster, all on his own, doesn't need to take bikes out while getting his porsche sideways on the highway.
Title: Re: Porche and some bikes Post by: derby on October 22, 2009, 04:43:47 AM iirc, that was posted on TOB, not here.
Title: Re: Porche and some bikes Post by: RetroSBK on October 22, 2009, 05:59:44 AM Another example of a guy with little driving skill in a pregnant dogin car... note the HUGE amout of tension in his hands and forearms, the fact that his seat is too far back and that his arms are so stretched out that his back isnt against the seat...
thumbs inside the wheel too! Dumbass The only reason that didnt end in ahuge cloud of smoke was that PSM saves the day.. over and over Title: Re: Porche and some bikes Post by: Rameses on October 22, 2009, 09:07:20 AM The FJ40 at 2:24 looked pretty cool. Title: Re: Porche and some bikes Post by: ghostface on October 22, 2009, 10:30:31 AM That was pretty cool, a few dumb moves but overall exciting. The GT3 cat should have def not tailgated those guys tho.

Other than that [thumbsup] Title: Re: Porche and some bikes Post by: IamSMC on October 22, 2009, 12:07:17 PM Another example of a guy with little driving skill in a pregnant dogin car... note the HUGE amout of tension in his hands and forearms, the fact that his seat is too far back and that his arms are so stretched out that his back isnt against the seat... thumbs inside the wheel too! Dumbass The only reason that didnt end in ahuge cloud of smoke was that PSM saves the day.. over and over The vid title says its a GT3. From the view of the dash, it appears to be a 996. So it might be a 996 GT3. 996 GT3 don't have any driver aids, like PSM or PSAM, except for ABS. Wasn't PSM that saved his arse, it was pure luck. I race a Porsche GT3 and I'm a nationally certified instructor, I agree that he is a jackass and about the death grip on the steering wheel, but you're supposed to have your thumbs inside the wheel. Only Off road do you keep your thumbs out. thumbs inside the wheel too! Dumbass The only reason that didnt end in ahuge cloud of smoke was that PSM saves the day.. over and over Just an FYI Title: Re: Porche and some bikes Post by: va122 on October 23, 2009, 09:50:59 AM The vid title says its a GT3. No the GT3 does not have any electronic "nannies" save for ABS. And no that wasn't me, I have too much respect for riders Title: Re: Porche and some bikes Post by: va122 on October 23, 2009, 09:53:12 AM 996 I mean about the nannies, the 997 does have them, and the 997.2 has even more. but the dash in the vid is a 996. I can't trell from the sound if it's a GT3 or not, mine is too modified and I don't remember what it sounded like stock.
