Post by: Dave on October 25, 2009, 01:09:50 AM
Went for a ride today with a few oldies (the bikes , not the blokes). Great day for it , went along the wier and ended up at the pub.
Here's a few pics.

There's something about riding the old bevels, great fun at a more sedate pace i spose  [moto].

Cheers,  Dave.

All I can say is it brings a  :'( to my eye seeing these bikes.
It makes our modern machines look so plain....

If I save up, buy no more bling ever can I send lot's of money for that last bike.
In Love all over again.

Great shots of the old bevels and singles.  Something special about them alright...

They are a challenge to work on but when set and running corectly they are extremely satisfying.

Fantastic, good to see them out and about [thumbsup]

Don't be to sad Matt, the S4R is a hot looking bike. Retro meets modern day technology. In 30yrs time i think it will be the S4R that people are oggling (honestly).

Mind you these old cafe racer style bikes are truely drool worthy.

Of course it's in WA - the sun is shining  [laugh] although from memory these old bikes didn't used to get out too often but it was lovely when they did.

cool.
I know the big fella that own's that bike (and a few other very desirable's) .  hmmm, I dont think that plate belongs on that bike..   ;)

looking closer...  I also know the bloke that rebuilt that 750 sport,  he's the guy that had that plate originally and sold it when he sold his 'green frame' to someone over where the sun rises..
