I had to change from my normal MYEMAIL+DMF@gmail.com to just plain MYEMAIL@gmail.com
Adding the plus lets me know if this account has been hijacked by a spammer and what forum the spammer got it from...
oh well.. I guess I'll just have to risk it..

Not until I told it to change my email address from one with "+" to normal. It's a problem on some websites, it's just a setting on most forums (at least on the one I run; it is a setting on phpBB3) where you can allow or disallow special characters in emails. Not a huge deal really, just a handy thing for keeping track of where you email got leaked to spammers.

This was during the activation? It said it was fine for mine as well, I just never got the activation email. Maybe I'll try to change it in my profile and see what it says now.
