Title: Transporting a bicycle... Post by: erkishhorde on October 27, 2009, 05:03:24 PM ... on your monster. It's only a 1 time deal but it's a 250mi trip and I don't really want to buy a bike carrier rack. I stared at the bike a bit but couldn't really see it happening so I was wondering if anybody else had an idea.
The best idea I've been able to come up with is taking the wheels off and strapping it to my back. Title: Re: Transporting a bicycle... Post by: 1KDS on October 27, 2009, 05:54:22 PM with a rack of some kind

Title: Re: Transporting a bicycle... Post by: erkishhorde on October 28, 2009, 06:10:24 AM why bother with a bicycle when you have a duc to ride? It's an old bicycle that's been sitting in my parent's garage for 25 years. It's actually pretty nice. I spent the day fixing it up to give/sell to a friend at school since I'm going up anyway to talk to people about a project. Title: Re: Transporting a bicycle... Post by: Gus Duc on October 28, 2009, 08:32:35 AM Good...... since you're giving it away have the friend arrange pickup/shipping..... it's the least they could do [thumbsup]
If that fails, I know a guy in Bako with a truck & some free tome ;) |
