Title: Transporting a bicycle...
Post by: erkishhorde on October 27, 2009, 05:03:24 PM
... on your monster. It's only a 1 time deal but it's a 250mi trip and I don't really want to buy a bike carrier rack. I stared at the bike a bit but couldn't really see it happening so I was wondering if anybody else had an idea.

The best idea I've been able to come up with is taking the wheels off and strapping it to my back.

Perhaps on my Cagiva GC, with a *stout* rack.

Monster? No way.

Besides, I saw your post, and I thought you had done it.  ;D

It's an old bicycle that's been sitting in my parent's garage for 25 years. It's actually pretty nice. I spent the day fixing it up to give/sell to a friend at school since I'm going up anyway to talk to people about a project.

Good...... since you're giving it away have the friend arrange pickup/shipping..... it's the least they could do [thumbsup]

If that fails, I know a guy in Bako with a truck & some free tome ;)
