I am not saying that Ducati had "invented" the concept of motard. Just saying that the look of the Hypermotard is being copied by the other manufacturers. I see a lot of resemblence in the others. Frame shape (even replacing the subframe with tubes) looks just like the Aprilia to me, but the Aprilia has a much better looking swingarm.
