Title: Stacked vs Unstacked insurance Post by: Monsterlover on October 30, 2009, 02:14:21 PM I just googled and got the difference between the two but I still have an unanswered question that maybe the DMF can help with.
We have our cars with State farm and my Supermoto is with Rider and currently I have unstacked coverage. Is it worth having stacked coverage quoted even though the bike policy is not with state farm? Does the stacking work across more than one policy, or does it all have to be within the same one? its basically uninsured/under insured motorist right? Title: Re: Stacked vs Unstacked insurance Post by: Monsterlover on October 30, 2009, 08:26:51 PM "What is the difference between stacked and unstacked uninsured and underinsured motorist coverages?
Unstacked coverages protect up to the stated limits on the policy. Stacked coverage allows the uninsured and underinsured limits to be multiplied by the number of vehicles on the policy. For example, if you choose stacked coverages with two insured vehicles your $100,000/$300,000 coverage is increased to $200,000/$600,000" from http://www.lawtonins.com/faq.aspx#7 (http://www.lawtonins.com/faq.aspx#7) |
