Title: Winter Storage choices Post by: seevtsaab on October 31, 2009, 03:42:38 PM Getting close to the tme I'll need to store the Duc but I'll ride to the bitter end.
Once salt goes all the roads I'm done, probably mid-late Nov to end of March-ish. My choices, two garages: 1) Partially below grade attached, never freezes, shared with salt covered cages, melting snow slush and all that salt 2) Unheated cold garage (with electricity) but no salt, added moisture, insulated & cement floor. The attached garage will allow me to see, caress and be tormented by my Duc. I'll keep it covered (sheet), battery tender, I keept the garage swept pretty clean but it's a battle. 05 M620 ~16500mi Title: Re: Winter Storage choices Post by: ducpainter on October 31, 2009, 03:48:24 PM unheated...
fog the motor... change the oil and filter...don't start... spray everything except the seat and tires/wheels/brakes with WD-40 and let it sit Title: Re: Winter Storage choices Post by: sroberts152 on October 31, 2009, 05:19:37 PM What's a winter storage?
