Title: NPR Hailwood replica Post by: LA on November 02, 2009, 09:59:48 AM I remember NCR bikes being pictured, but not this one? Even if it has it's just too not to put up. I'll nuke it if if has.

The new one 130 and over 90 lb.ft. If I were made of money I'd have one. Yes, I am just a little jealous of your being able to go to the "show". I knew it was intro'd at Milan last year, I had never seen it pictured. Something north of $120K USD isn't it? When I think Mike the Bike only had 87 HP and with the $$$ I could have something MUCH better with 40+ HP better and lighter to boot. Just mind blowing to me. Sometimes I wish I weren't a mere mortal. [wine]
I'll think about you guys whilst I'm walking round looking at the the beautiful bikes and the occasional young lady draped over said bikes (it's a hard life being retired). Specially with the relative ease of getting a 90's Monster for around 3-4K (or less), a 1.5K tank, seat and fairing combo wold be awesome -- and who wouldn't want a Monster in MH clothing for around 5K???
Title: Re: NPR Hailwood replica Post by: vw151 on November 05, 2009, 06:07:01 AM They have built 12 of those. They had one in their booth at MotoGP this year in the Ducati Island area. They also had a display of all the titanium internals laid out for you to see.
I asked what it would take to convert to the engine internals alone for my 1000DS powered monster. $15k for high comp, titanium internals and displacment around 1200cc, can't remember exactly. Title: Re: NPR Hailwood replica Post by: DoubleEagle on November 05, 2009, 03:17:50 PM Joe , that's right, 12 made .
If you want one and were lucky enough to get one , $130,000 is the MSRP. 295 lbs. 125 rwhp, 94 lb. ft. torque. Dolph :) |
