Title: S4R YOYODYNE CLUTCH SLAVE, Any reviews? Post by: DucatiMonster on November 02, 2009, 11:42:40 AM The clutch lever feels a bit stiff on the 2006 S4R. Has anyone installed a Yoyodyne clutch slave overthruster? If yes, have you felt a significant difference? Is it a do it yourself project?
Is there any other options to make the clutch feel softer? Title: Re: S4R YOYODYNE CLUTCH SLAVE, Any reviews? Post by: silentbob on November 02, 2009, 11:51:23 AM The aftermarket slaves will only reduce lever effort slightly and that comes at the price of a longer pull.
Just remove two clutch springs. Title: Re: S4R YOYODYNE CLUTCH SLAVE, Any reviews? Post by: mitt on November 02, 2009, 11:56:19 AM All the aftermarket slaves are good and do make the clutch easier and smoother.
It can be a DIY, but it isn't just a bolt on, you need to spend a lot of time bleeding, which can be testing to say the least. mitt Title: Re: S4R YOYODYNE CLUTCH SLAVE, Any reviews? clutch feel like a jap bike (that's a good thing). Title: Re: S4R YOYODYNE CLUTCH SLAVE, Any reviews? He's only doing city riding, so the longer pull is probably a good thing in his case. Title: Re: S4R YOYODYNE CLUTCH SLAVE, Any reviews? Post by: somegirl on November 04, 2009, 05:47:28 AM Why? Maybe it's just me. I end up slipping the clutch a lot in stop and go traffic, I don't like the action all to happen in 2 mm worth of clutch travel. Title: Re: S4R YOYODYNE CLUTCH SLAVE, Any reviews?
