Title: S2R 800 Model Year Question Post by: mikeb on November 05, 2009, 11:01:23 AM Was the Black/Tangerine color combo offered in 2006? Or was it only 2005?
When did they go to a solid black 800? Not Dark....gloss black? Looking at used bikes and thought the Black/Tangerine was 2005 only. Also, did they ever get rid of the immobilizer on the S2R 800's? I believe that was the only year for the gloss black. Orange was 2005 or 2006, but only one year.

From memory the options were: . gloss black . acid yellow / black stripe . red / white stripe . black / tangerine stripe (or red?) . tangerine / black stripe Possibly the widest colour range ever (before Monster Art).
