Title: AUCTION ITEM FOR MOVEMBER
Post by: Jukie on November 09, 2009, 12:06:49 AM
Ok guys and girls,

I have been given a item for auction from a very generous friend of mine. It is a Mo cup and saucer. We will except bids via PMing me and there will be a reserved price. This has come from a collection the guys has been doing for a while, and since we are raising money for the Movember it is a very ideal item. It was made in the year around we think 1919, and i must admit i have never seen or heard of one before. This is a very unique and cool item so let not have small bids on this, i don't want to disappoint my friend by telling him it only went for a few bucks, as he has given this to us from his personal collection. i don't want to be embarrassed by returning the item back to him

Sorry, I don't have a cup holder on the Monster  :-[

I'm still waiting for my Handlebar mounted Espresso system to arrive from the DP performance Catalog that I ordered.

Moustache cups aren't that unusual,( however very appropriate for Movember)
Valuation depends very much on manufacturer and overall condition.

It might help to sell it if you had a picture of the manufacturers marks on the bottom.

And believe it or not they used to come in right and left hand models.

this is all the marking that was on the bottom of the saucer. In gold it has the number 318, but indented on it, it also has a number of 15

OK, so all you blokes who cant grow a moe, or whinging that its starting to itch, or bleating that my wife/girlfriend/mum doesnt like it or dads laughing at my attempts, or the boss/premier/inlaws are coming.

Well here is your out, and a chance to own something unique, bid on the mo cup, and see if you can beat my bid, dont worry I wont leave you hanging, as I like the idea of owning a mo cup.

Dont embarrass Jukie after the effort she has gone to, c'mon have a go.
