I'm thinking about getting the carbon fiber seat cowl but I'm also thinking about a touring seat. Will the cowl fit the touring seat? It looks like it has the fastener cutouts in the seat. I just want to make sure before I spend the money and get the carbon fiber cowl then later discover it won't work on the touring seat.
To the mods; sorry, this is the second time you have had to move one of my posts. Hopefully, I'll learn to put them in the right place soon.

not sure on the m1100, but i don't see why it wouldn't... as long as both parts are ducati manufactured.
