Title: What size are the Ohlins forks?
Post by: NorDog on November 09, 2009, 11:58:18 AM
I have an 07 S4RS and am considering what it would take to use the same forks (a second set; not the ones on my Monster) on a project bike, but I need to know what size the upper tubes are for finding the right triple clamps.  Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Nordog

if they are monster forks, the upper part of the tube is 50mm, the bottom is 54mm.

Thanks, but it's an S4RS, so the forks are Ohlins.

get some digital calipers then, and measure them.

53/56 is the Ohlins Superbike Size.
53/53 is the Showa Superbike Size.
50/54 is the Std. Monster Size.

888/Supersports: 30mm Offset
94-01 Monsters: 26mm Offset (wait. Maybe its 25mm. Its something crazy small)
02+ Monsters: 30mm Offset
