My range is 235 to 250 miles, my tank holds 6.61 gallons. I really need to get a better (read: more comfortable) seat. It's the same price as the current base model which is what the EVO is. The SP is the new S but still doesn't get Ohlins forks. Luckily there is now an Ohlins internals kit to get the mediocre forks corrected. Not enough of a change to warrant a swap out if you have a 08-09. I was contemplating going to a F1098 but the trade in value on the Hyper is such BS (Paid 14K for an S 9/08, trade in is 7.5K 11/09 [roll]) I'm just gonna keep it and trick it out a bit. I'll buy a used F1098 in a year or two and let someone else eat the depreciation. 9,995 for the 796 11,995 for the EVO 14,495 for the SP. Trade in on it is 8,500 in very good condition. I was thinking about getting the hyper SP but for the price the 848 Dark is luring me back in.
