Title: Recommended Workshops in Sydney ?
Post by: signora monster on November 14, 2009, 11:57:10 PM
Hi, I was wondering if I could grab some recommendations on where to get my Monster serviced in Sydney area. If you have had good experiences, I would love to know. The bike is due for it's 12month service (under warranty), so it has to be a Ducati approved repairer.  ???
Cheers, Kaz.

You have a couple of choices.
Depends if your bike is under Warranty still.
Not sure if non Factory Workshops can affect your warranty.

Most popular is Fly Wheels in Alexandria
Then the Newest place is Desmo Clinic in Meadow Bank near Top Ryde.
There is also Gowenloch's but they usually take care of older machinery.

Lsatly you have the Factory shops obviously Frasers and North Side Ducati and also Penrith Ducati.

So take your pick.

cheers
Matty...

Mick dyer, Coreen Ave Penrith (very very good mechanic)
or

Ducati Penrith, Coreen Ave Penrith

I'll vouch for both Gowies and Flywheels. Both have given me good service in the past.

I wouldn't piss on Frasers if they were on fire, and I'd consider setting fire to Northside just so I could not piss on them...

I have noted a pattern here already. Great feedback, thanks. [thumbsup] I thought the best way to find a decent place was by the experiences of previous victims. You should always learn from other people's mistakes, I say!!
Cheers, Kaz.

+1, I've only visited gowies once, but it was a good experience, and my bike has been serviced by flywheels for some time now.

I have found Ducati Penrith to be good & reasonable.

+1. Add Frasers Wollongong to the potential arson list for me.
