Title: 11/16 Post by: vwboomer on November 16, 2009, 09:14:48 PM Still riding? I've still kept my streak of riding to work alive despite scraping the frost off my seat at 10:50 when I get out of work and having the tank/gauges resemble icecubes when I get home.
As of now it's a little over 6 months taking the bike to work every day. It's the first year I've kept track (cuz i'm a dork) and it's the most I've ridden without ever taking the truck in, and I'm thinking it's the latest into the season that I've taken it in to work. In late October - while it was still cold, I took the insurance off the Monster - thought riding was done. I've been kicking myself every warm day since. I need to put the bikes away to make room for forging knives this winter anyway. Forging is almost as fun as riding motorcycles.
