I feel you dude.

When I worked at an Audi dealer I was pretty much Graham Rahl's pregnant dog.  He had a few Audi's a couple of Porche's and a Lambo along with a bunch of others.  Put 2 clutches in his special made RS4 dark.

sell drugs much?

he just triggered a lot of alarms at the federal building in your town. (here comes the tax evasion policia even if he is in some legit line of work, its likely he's made a few oopsies in accumulating such wealth in such a short span of time)

wonder what house/garage he has for these toys

I wouldn't think that at first. First thing I'd want to know is what his parents do...

most parents do the buying for the kids, not the kid doing the buying. especially at this scale. its not like its clothes, watches, etc.

Son, go down to the Porsche dealer, and pick up one for me and one for your mom.
Hell, get one for yourself while you're there.

Hell, if I had the money, I'd do the same thing, if only to annoy Ducaholic.

Don't think the oil tycoons do business quite that way, even in such a city as Dallas, not sure about Austin or San Antonio but regionally, they aren't that different. (correct me if i'm wrong).

similar vein: sure they drive 'em, but around the D, they lease market is hyooge. the younguns don't buy here, they lease.

its possible ma and pa said that. possible. incredibly unlikely though. the facts should raise eyebrows.

my only other thought that might possibly fit here would be either football player, basketball player, baseball player (less so), or other young athlete who just got a signing bonus and hasn't been reading up about what happens to athletes who blow all their money quickly.

Or trust fund baby. Or lottery winner. Or who knows what-either way, bit harsh to assume anyone spending loads of money at a young age is dealing drugs.

Not a lottery winner at 20....

My guess:

Parents killed when kid was young... large settlement that was released to him when he reached 20.

So this kid is smart enough to amass a shit load of money selling drugs but is not smart enough to realize he shouldn't spend 300K all at once?  No way, only intelligent and cautious dealers make that much money.

Kid is probably just rich from his parents.

The only think I'm wondering is why he would buy a Panamera?  If he's got dough like that to burn, why not go for the Quattroporte?  The 4 door porsche is oooogly!

Yup that'd do it.  Turns out he may have bout one for pops. Apparently he was an ex motocrosser that was in a bad car accident and was awarded a large settlement. Don't know if that's the whole story.  Also don't know how good of a motocrosser he was.

To drop $300k on a depreciating assets you have to be either A) Really Dumb or B) Really Wealthy.  Given that he was 20, I'll assume A.

Kids do things like that all the time in the DC area. my friend's parents now have over 20 lambos, porches  and MBZ's because their son keeps buying them when new models come out....its disgusting
