If anyone has done this before any advice would be great

So i took the clutch apart and pulled of the right side engine cover...all went well.
Did the left side and got everything off too
Now i am stuck trying to figure out how to get the sight windows out without tearing them to pieces, i am also stuck trying to get the bearing out of the alternator side..the bearing right under the alternator cover...i took out the pinch washer but it doesnt seem to want to move...I guess i am wondering if you can take this stuff out without damaging it or do i just ripp it out and replace with new parts and if so where do i get these random parts from?
i would be interested in this as well for different reasons though (Magnesium :D )
got the bearing out...just hammered it out with a rubber mallet and a long neck socket...came out in good working order...still cant figure out any of the rubber parts...i am thinking i will need replacements because the seals are going to be ruined no matter how careful i am...if anybody knows a place that sells these kind of random parts please let me know
after tinkering some more i was able to remove the rubber seal around where the shift linkage would go through...just used a small screwdriver and pried it out...i think it will be reusable...no luck with the sight windows though...cant seem to figure out a way to get them out with out breaking them...also no luck with the large seal behind the clutch basket...thing is in there good...need advice please
how do you plan on painting it?

You don't need to paint
inside the covers...
I'd recommend against it in fact.
i just taped my sight glass, seal and bearing when i painted mine.
and if you hammered the bearing out by the inner race (unless it just fell out with a tap or two), i would just replace it now. no sense in waiting for it to fail.
Mine were done - along with the heads, by the dealer here. They left the sight glass and seals in there. If they didn;t remove them, I guess that's saying something... :-\
i wanted to get them powder coated but after coming this far ands realizing the shit creek i was paddling down i have decided not to tear out the seals and instead i am going to go ahead and just paint it myself...tape off the windows and all...i dont want to go so far i cant turn back...thanks for the advice
how have you guys who have painted these done it? rattle can, professional job, auto high heat paint...the reason i wanted to powder cat was cause of the belief that this would be stronger and more resistant...any suggestions

Replace that shifter seal with a new one, it's low money compared to having to take the sidecover off when it starts leaking.
Same with the bearing.
