Title: help with oil pressue sensor swith
Post by: arbychuaang on November 24, 2009, 05:53:38 AM
There's a oil leaking problem above the oil pressue sensor swith where the cable connection is.  Does anyone know what's the problem?

While I had never seen it before, a buddy of mine had one crack on a ride a couple weeks ago and spewed oil all down the side of his bike.  Made it home with a shop rag zip tied around it.  Replace it if it's leaking.

The seal in that sensor's known to go out. So it's gone... you need to replace that sensor. There's no way to replace that internal seal

my sensor started leaking a while back, had it replaced pretty cheap. They are usually a well stocked item around $30 for an old SS.
