I have been noticing this phrase in a lot of the posts. It is the auto foul language filter on this board for the F word. Does anyone get the same phrase, can it be turned off on my end, who came up with the phrase and does it have a meaning? WTF does it mean? Make the beast with two...WTF is a backsing, or make the beast that has a quantity of two "backsing's"(still dont know what that means) do what? Make the beast do what?
Is there some sort of inside joke or am I just missing something completely obvious?

When two people are having intercourse in the "missionary" position, it looks like a "beast with two backs", since their fronts are together and their backs are exposed. It's a quote from literature. Apparently it's originally from Shakespeare.

Shakespeare. Othello. Act 1 Sc 1. Iago: "I am one, sir, that comes to tell you your daughter and the Moor are now making the beast with two backs."
Doncha just love the internet. ;D
"These two did oftentimes do the two-backed beast together, joyfully rubbing and frotting their bacon 'gainst one another"
Awwwe, how romantic...
"the black sheep is tupping your white ewe..."
that's a great play.

So why exactly is a language filter necessary? I think we are all adults here [roll]
Some things should have died with TOB
I know a couple people that still leave their filters on. *shrugs*

Some people access this forum from work and don't want anything on their monitors that might be considered offensive at inopportune times.
Oooh, I realize why i was thrown off. I thought it was some reference to the actual deed. It is when people add the "ing" to the end of the F word that makes it "backsing" or in my mind "Back-sing". I was like "how does a back....sing a song?"
Stand alone phrase of "beast with two backs" is decipherable, "beast with two BACKSING" was throwing me off. Thank the DMF for the vast amount of knowlege to bestow upon the community.
I just wish the powers had chosen a shorter word/phrase to sensor with. [roll]

Not trying to be a prude here, but its a shame we can't express ourselves w/o cursing. I don't necessarily expect eloquence from a bunch of motorcyclists. If you need to resort to F's and GD's to get your point across, your language skills must be pretty pathetic.

Seems awfully narrow minded to assume anyone who cusses has to.

Pregnant dog (that's pregnant dog for those of you with the filter off) is the one that is usually used in such a way that it ends up being pretty funny. I tried leaving the filter off for a while, but it's just not as good.
does "derby" still get replaced with "derby!"? [laugh]

So if the word "make the beast with two backs" is censored out, shouldn't WTF be censored out to be WTMTBWTB?
