Just got done shopping, and woot! Scored some nice stuff.
ONLINE mind you, I'm not going to get trampled by www.thepeopleofwalmart.com (//http://), make the beast with two backs that.
PS3 w/3 games and a blu-ray= $285 shipped. Now I can store all those dvd's away on the hard drive I scored, and stream them to the TV. [thumbsup]
Got a few less exciting things as well, 16gb SD card for $16, an otterbox for my iphone, and a 1gb vid card to upgrade the computer.
BEST thing was the 4x8 trailer I picked up at HF....now I can actually go places with the dirtbike.
+1
I'm probably picking up a 46" LCD for half price
Nice, how much was the trailer?
I scored about 3 extra hours of sleep this morning. [thumbsup]
I hit Target this morning I got whole CASE of toilet paper for $1! [thumbsup]

BAM ;D
Trailer on sale at HF for $250 + 20% off = $214 something out the door. Headed out now to get the decking for it. I towed it around yesterday for about an hour....it's perfect for what I need. Only thing better would have been that cheap truck I found, but it wasn't meant to be.
Maybe next week I'll find a used MIG welder so I can weld thing thing together an not have to worry about bolts coming loose. A few other mods for it if needed, like weld the fender mounts on the frame (I hear they fall off easy), get a spare tire carrier, and a tongue jack so it'll sit level. It's so cheap, it's almost criminal.....but after scanning online about them, people load 2-3 bike on'em and are just fine. I'll be able to take the ktm in sumo trim and the monster to the mountains now [cheeky]

which trailer? folding or non-folding?
i've had my folding HF trailer for about 3 years now and bolts have been no problem. I wanted to weld the corners but never did. the only upgrade i'd like is bigger wheels. the 12x4's are ok, but the 12x5s hold more weight and won't heat up as fast.
I got 4-5" eye bolts from Home Depot and replaced some of the bolts for tire-downs. work great.
TIP: Get your tires balanced. i found a HUGE difference on the highway after.

Deal of the day!!!
Was that a special they had, or a f-up?
Wish I would have known about that one... Can never have too much ass-wipe. Especially with how much Guinness I consume!

I love how Target places banner ads all over that site.
let's see, got speedymoto frame sliders for $85, got a HP desktop with XP and a 19" flatscreen for $342, and a 24" Samsung LCD with keyboard and mouse for $189....
I just scored.....
That's all. It beats a flatscreen or other technojunk any day of the week ;D
And the winner is...

playing "Battleship" in the commode isn't a family game, mmmkay?
Got one Pirelli P Zero tire with minimal wear for free, and promptly filled it with 200 lbs of concrete for a kids' tetherball set. (We're visiting AM's sister & brother in law in Ventura, CA and let's just say the tire places around here send a slightly better class of take-offs to the tire shredder than I'm used to.)

It's some of that Ultramax Reman stuff.
But at that price it's still a hell of a deal.
I got it today, so it's still "Black weekend"
I picked up a framing nail gun and miter saw from Harbor Freight. THey are having a disgustingly good sale, and if you get their coupons you get it even cheaper. (they advertise in the NRA pubs)
I got their $199 sliding, laser-assist 12" miter saw for $95 bucks and the 3-way 10 gauge framing nail gun (21, 28 and 34 deg) for $54
gonna build a shed now.

Dick's Sporting Goods.
no shit?
I am still waiting on my .22LR conversion kit from Ciener I ordered on November 4. Must be a huge backlog of his kit, but his website says in stock.
We shall see when it arrives. I want to go shoot the piss out of my M4.
Is that ultramax reload stuff lead ball? I wouldn't use it in your AR
Ive got the Ceiner for my Glock 17. Not one hang up or missfire since switching it out. My 7 year old son loves it!
Let me know how you like the AR conversion.

I hit Dicks sporting goods for their "buy one, get one half off" ammo sale, then went next door to Harbor Freight and picked up two 40,000 BTU propane heaters for the garage for $50/each.

How long did you wait for your product to arrive?
I want to check my order status, but you have to send him a letter, with a pre-paid express envelope to send back.
It is pretty old school.

holy shit, that's cheap for those heaters. how big is your garage, mine is a 2 car slightly oversize and i do fine with 20k btu.
do you have a model #? I can't find a 40,000 btu model on their website
Jud, I am surprised you haven't gotten onto that ammo deal, I know you love Dicks.
Whoops, my bad, I said harbor freight, it was actually Northern Tool.
Allpro40,000 BTU
item# 70080
My garage is 20x30 with a concrete floor, 10' walls and open rafters, it gets coooold.
I'm going to set up some type of a system to suspend the heaters from the rafters and run a line to an outdoor propane tank when I get some time. I'm ripping the walls out of a house that was flooded in last weeks storm now, so the heaters are already being used to heat and dry the subfloor and studs. The house was under 18" of water at the height of the storm.
I'll post some pics maybe soon.

I would close up those rafters, that's where you are losing the most, as I am sure you know. batten them with fiberglass and put even thin ply over. You'll retain 30-50% more heat.

There are some pretty good deals online right now. Dell has 20% cash back and HP 20% CB with bing cash back. Not sure how long this will last, maybe 1 or 2 more days.
