I got it installed, but doesn't seem to load properly.
I remember reading you have to buy certain ammo or others wont function.
I load my mag, pull the release back and bolt just sort of stops when it meets the lip of the magazine and bullet.
For those of you with this conversion, what are you shooting through it?
I was trying to load with some target Federal .22LR FMJ.
I had one for my m-16, and it worked great with federal bulk pack from walmart.

Federal target ammo is standard velocity.
try something with more punch. mini mags, maybe even stingers.
also.. there is no 22lr FMJ, theres copper washed, but if you come across 22lr FMJ theres a whole web site full of people that will be very happy. ;)
I'm not to familiar with the AR 22 conversions. Theres bound to be some one on this site that will have more info.

What mags are you using? I've not tried the conversion yet but have some Black Dog Machine mags that I bought for the purpose and heard they were good stuff. What's the going price and good suppliers for a ceiner kit now-a-days?
