Just an update, my first appointment was scheduled for next week but just got a call today that they wanted to move it to this afternoon, so I hopped on the moto and headed over. Everything is going as it should, she did a quick ultrasound and I could see the little heart beating! Seriously it is so great to be able to see it - and the technology now is so much more advanced than even 14 years ago - you can eventually get these scans that are like something out of a sci fi movie. As some people will have sympathy pains for another, I think I had sympathy cleaning pains on Sunday for either you, P, or someone else about to go into labor. To the point that I was not only vacuuming the normal up-side of rugs (not to mention the baseboard scrubbing and window washing) but flipped them over to clean the floor side of the rugs. AND took vents out of the floors and sucked up all the dust bunnies and dog food bits that went down the vents. I don't know who, but someone not too far out of my circle of connections is going to have a baby.
