Or can use the one you have? Title: Re: Where can I find this part? Post by: stopintime on December 01, 2009, 11:26:34 AM Chris' website says they are out of stock.....
Title: Re: Where can I find this part? Post by: corey on December 01, 2009, 11:38:42 AM Chris' website says they are out of stock..... thanks ;D my deutsch is a bit rusty... been years since i've even thought about the german language... that other CF tail you posted up is a for the older monsters... the one our man here is looking for is for 2002-2008 monsters Title: Re: Where can I find this part? Post by: stopintime on December 01, 2009, 11:46:32 AM [laugh] my German is ok, but my understanding of the 2000- versus the -2000 ...... [roll]
So, Vigge - you need a tray, but without the blinker wings/mounts? Title: Re: Where can I find this part? Post by: Slide Panda on December 01, 2009, 12:11:42 PM Shift-Tech (one of our sponsors) stock a similar item. It does mean cutting the frame a bit, but it's not a full tail chop.
Title: Re: Where can I find this part? Post by: Bill in OKC on December 01, 2009, 07:46:53 PM I got mine from Chris. They have been out of stock before but then got more. It might be temporary (again).
Title: Re: Where can I find this part? Post by: vigge79 on December 01, 2009, 09:45:37 PM Ok guess I have to rely on Chris instead of santa this year ;). I would like this tail without the stock indicator details to use the Kellermanns instead, hopefully will give it sort of a original look but sleeker, the full tail-chop looks too "pirate" to me. I've seen the shift-tech one but my heart is still beating for the Desmoworld one.
Title: Re: Where can I find this part? Post by: Bill in OKC on December 02, 2009, 08:25:15 AM You *might* have trouble reaching him at first - I did. But once he gets the message the service is friendly and easy. I think I had a thread on how I mounted it on here somewhere.
Title: Re: Where can I find this part? Post by: stopintime on December 02, 2009, 09:01:56 AM Did you consider this? http://www.desmorados.com/shop/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=339_110&products_id=2120 (http://www.desmorados.com/shop/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=339_110&products_id=2120)
MonsterParts have the same one, currently listed as out of stock though. "Out of stock" may not be correct, as my experience Jeff doesn't always update his website in/out of stock. Title: Re: Where can I find this part? Post by: Chris, desmoworld on February 14, 2010, 04:59:05 AM Hi Guys,

as soon as biking season starts I'll get some pix to post here. I need to get that CF tail painted Black! Title: Re: Where can I find this part? Post by: vigge79 on March 07, 2010, 07:40:51 PM As soon as I can I promise :) Forgot to mention that I also mounted the Kellermann Micros with that tail they are a perfect match! German engineering at its finest. Yes I want it in the Ducati Dark matte black rather than CF. But that's just me.

I really like the look of this piece but can't quite figure out if it will fit. thanks. No it won't.It has a different bolt pattern to the frame. Maybe contact DesmoWorld and ask him what they might have for the early frame. Edit... Maybe this one? http://www.desmorados.com/shop/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=2043&cPath=339_110 (http://www.desmorados.com/shop/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=2043&cPath=339_110) (http://www.desmorados.com/shop/catalog/images/KH.00.00M99.jpg) Title: Re: Where can I find this part? Title: Re: Where can I find this part? Post by: vigge79 on April 20, 2010, 08:04:39 AM My first plan was to get it painted black as I'm not crazy with CF parts, but this feels ok for now. Love how the Kellermanns fit with this tail. I have finally gotten rid of tons of plastic that made people laugh at me (at least other bikers)
