Bike slid all over the driveway, laid her down in mud. Pride hurt, as the school bus full of kids was right there. My rear brake lever is now bent. Think I can straighten by hand, what are the chances the cylinder was damaged? Inspected for visual, didn't see any.

Well that sux! it's one thing to have it happen while no one is looking but school kids, they are mean little boogers.
You mean Master Cylinder? If it isn't leaking i would say its fine. Take t out and test it on a parking lot, so if it doesn't work you can run out and use the rear anchors, but i suspect it's fine.

Sorry to hear. Most important is you are OK.
did the same thing... in the drive .... early in the morn with no one around...
Yep, bent shifter straightened by hand and mud all over one side of me... But I rode on to a gathering with the mud on me as a badge of dorkness
