Given the commuting that Matador and I do between Houston and Austin to see each other, I knew it was only a matter of time but dammit, my record of NO speeding tickets in over 10 years of driving has been broken. 10 years!!! My claim to fame is gone.
So the first cop that stopped my gave me a written warning. The second cop that stopped me about 40 miles later didn't take so well to this.
Has this ever happened to anyone before? I just find it incredible!
Well, at least it wasn't the same officer. :P

I will say I get WAY more attention from people & LEO included with my 1999 M750. She's loud and bright yellow. My morning commute gets staked out every couple weeks. I've been stopped because "it was late and the noise was a concern," "Someone heard a motorcycle doing burnouts and continually revving it's motor," and a multitude of other reasons. I live in a small town, so everybody, including cops talk. I HAVE to mind my P's & Q's inside city limits and be a bit more than reasonably careful outside city limits ~

I managed to get two speeding tickets in under 5 minutes! After the first one, I noticed the flash so I let go of the gas. I had to accelerate to change lanes a bit later.... presto: another camera! [bang]

I stopped a female driver in a Jeep last year. I watched (and then filmed) her driving the jeep with the right two wheels on the sidewalk so she could squeeze by on the right of a long line of cars waiting at a red light. The only reason she stopped is because she almost hit a pedestrian waiting at a bus stop on the same sidewalk. She tried the "I'm hot, giggle, giggle thing", then went to silent when she realized I was going to cite her. I came back, she signed the citation and then peeled out, ran a stop sign, and nearly hit a motorcyclist as she made the right turn. I stopped her again and wrote her another citation. She initially refused to sign the second citation (passively by ignoring me and staring straight ahead). She decided to sign it after I informed her that if she can't "promise to appear" I would make her appear and started pulling her out of the jeep. After she signed that one, she peeled out and changed from the right hand lane across three lanes of heavy traffic to the left turn bay almost hitting two cars. I let that slide. :)
