Title: Blown Cluster?
Post by: evoasis on December 03, 2009, 05:26:29 PM
No sweep when key is moved to "On" position, and I get no mileage/ speedo/ tacho.  The turn signals don't work either, and I hear the relay for them is built into the cluster.

Any ideas? All the fuses seem to check out ok~  I'm running the fancy aftermarket FIM ECU which I'm guessing is allowing me to ride the bike with all this ruckus goin' on..

Cheers,
Christopher

Sounds like a blown fuse.

Unless the cluster and signals have a fuse somewhere I'm not checking~

All the symptoms you described are exactly the same as on my bike when one of the fuses for the lights is blown. With the exception of you actually being able to turn on the bike and ride it.  What year and model is your bike?

2005 620.  Where were the fuses located? I checked the ones below the ecu and the 40A on the other side of the battery~

Started workin' again... I guess letting it settle overnight off the trickle charger did the trick.. HmmffPh!
