Title: Amsoil Oil Filter Post by: ducwrx on May 28, 2008, 12:33:51 AM Anyone used one of these? Anyone bought one recently and what color was it? It costs about the same as the OEM one and is supposed to be the bee's knees right? Plus I need to order some Amsoil oil anyways.

The new eaom synthetic media filters are supposed to be excellent.Last I heard they were only available in chrome and are more money than OEM. I used some leftover Krylon semi-flat black paint and primer after a little sanding, and made them black filters. One's on the bike now, it appears to work... I think I paid $16 each (?) I am not sure how big this chrome batch was though.
Title: Re: Amsoil Oil Filter Post by: ducwrx on May 29, 2008, 12:02:59 AM yeah I'll pick up a half dozen when they come out in black. I'm going to use those filters on my car too, 1 year or 25000 miles before replacement!

Title: Re: Amsoil Oil Filter Post by: Jordan on May 29, 2008, 09:25:36 AM I have one. From what I've read about them, It'll be the only one I ever put on my bikes. Mine is chrome but it could be bright yellow, it's under the bike, can't see it who cares.
