I just got a m1100s and only got to ride it for a day before I had to put it away for winter. So there it sits in my basement all shiny and new, I just couldn't help myself. I threw a leg over and just sat on my new ride, when a voice from behind said "what are you doing?" She cuaght me. I felt like a little kid with a new toy, I didn't tell that wasn't the first time I went for a pretend ride. Can't wait for spring!!!!
Does she have battery-operated "toys?"
If so, then you're square.
If not?
You're so make the beast with two backsed.
Same thing happened with me and my NSX. She tells everyone that story when they ask how much I love the car. ;D
Nothing like the first day, especially when you get what you've always wanted.
Have fun with her. [clap]
well, at least you weren't reenacting a scene from Equus with it

They get used to it after they catch you often enough. I rebuilt my Monster after a frame crushing wreck, so there were many imaginary rides before the real thing ever happened. My wife just rolls her eye's now.

There was an actual movie? I saw it as a play back in the early 90's. Good thing it was mostly the artsy type there, as the lead male character would not have lived it down otherwise.
were you making the vrrrrrroooommmmmmm!!! noises too?
[moto] only in my mind [moto]

FWIW, there is a movie of it made in 1977 directed by Sydney Lumet:

I haven't seen it in years, but from what I remember, the film was quite well done.
The line from Tony Stark in the Film Ironman springs to mind...
"Lets face it, This is not the worse thing you've caught me doing"
