Title: Clear taillight glass Post by: mmarell on December 13, 2009, 10:14:11 PM Hi everybody,
My (second hand) Monster 900 came with a completely clear taillight glas (no color, no diffusing structure on the inside). I liked it a lot, because you can see all the LEDs behind it (I'm making my own taillight). Unfortunately I broke the glass while cleaning my bike. Does anyone know where I can a new one? Ebay only seems to have red ones, or ones with a structure on the inside. PM me. I have a few extra (clear or smoke) with very minor scuffs on them. Very minor and still in very good shape. They are of the crystal see-through type. None frosted or ugly diffusion pattern of any kind. You pay for shipping one is yours. I can't guarantee it will fit your application(ie base) of the one you have on right now; Maybe worth a try?? The lens are the ones I use on the SupaNova assemblies. It will not work with the stock hardware. Different centers on the 2 mounting screws.
