Here's a fairy tale that could only happen in the movies. Man makes YouTube video. Goes to Hollywood. Gets pots of money and a movie deal. Except this story is true.

Youtube didn't make that guy stinking rich... talent made him stinking rich. That video is crazy good, consider he only spent $300 on it.

Right, but if he hadn't posted it on youtube... his chances for discovery would have been greatly reduced.

And 300$ is a monster-budget for student or amateur film especially if it's mostly made in computer.
The pizza & beer start to add up fast.
I think the music is from 28 days later. . .
pretty good... not as good as this though....Magic Tits (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNyqhBXZET8#normal)
Now THAT'S talent!!!!! [roll] [evil] [evil]
^^^^^ My penis is officially for show now.
:(
Ok I was able to watch the video. If I was a Hollywood studio and figured out a way to make a four minute scene like that for $300, I would be very interested.
that was dope.. loved it.. guy has talent... yea that's the music from 28 days later, it's a perfect song for certain movies... lol too bad everyone can't use it... i wouldn't mind watching the clip as a full fledged movie..

There are a lot of garbage and wanna-be out there. When you are that talented, you'd be discovered somehow. Youtube is just a vehicle. If it's not youtube, it would be a contest, a film festival, a personal website, or a job interview...

And somehow it doesn't violate copy rights...
At the end if you click on the "watch the video clip" it show a the same footage in a music video clip. I guess that's the way he got discovered, not youtube.
Youtube is a vehicle indeed, but not for getting discovered, more for commercials.
youchoob made that dancing idiot a ton of cash, that guy that traveled around the world doing a screwed up riverdance jig thing.
they used it in an add campaign and sent him around the world to countries he hadnt danced at. I saw a special on that guy and therefore will not retract the idiot comment.
