Post by: 118811 on December 20, 2009, 06:25:30 PM
Hello,
Kind of interested is this GP exhaust..for my 98' M900
Does anyone have knowledge of how it would work on my bike?
How loud & any other issues?

http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m38.l1313&_nkw=gp+shorty+exhaust+1.75&_sacat=See-All-Categories (http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m38.l1313&_nkw=gp+shorty+exhaust+1.75&_sacat=See-All-Categories)

Thanks

Anything can be modified to work.

be aware that some of those gp shorties on japanese sport bikes are just tips, and the muffler is a can further up the line.
sorta like chopping the pipe after the cat on the S2R

Yeah, the listing says that it has a thin baffle. I

Thanks

wife has it on her S2 and although they are loud they are not nearly as loud as most Harley's or even some Ducs I've heard.  The baffle helps considerably.

Could you post some pics of your wife's bike?
What brand is she using?
Thanks

here you go.  looks really nice and clean, just like a single-sided swing arm should be.

Termi but unless you can get a kick ass price buy a sleeve and an exhaust tip and make your own.  It's so simple even I can do it

Muskrat,
Would I be able to use theses cans?  One on each side.

and achieve a similar look as your wife's bike?
Any idea how difficult it would be to might these up &
the ever present question
HOW LOUD?

Thanks All

that link is dead.  look for CalsCrazy profile, he should have a post of his bike with the pipes I'm talking about.
