If you look at the inside of the stock plate you will see the honeycomb design. I plan on cutting just aft of the second honeycomb after the opening (where the two sections come together) then sandblast or beadblast to make the cut area match the original finish. Yea, I know I could buy rearsets but I'm a cheap SOB plus I like the stock rider peg position.
