Jizzz.
Sure, it's a good deal and all, but I wouldn't go that far.
or YOU could take out a personal loan at the bank, and pay that off with your insurance money.
Buy it dude. That's $300 more than I paid for my make the beast with two backsing S2R800.

You're missing the point.
He just likes to find these deals and tell us all about it.
:P
And complain about his fate [cheeky]
He Man just can't get a break. LOL
Yeah, _1 to someone on here buying it. Just not He Man. It's too pretty to have garbage dumped on it.
Garbage will wash off with water. a SUPER deal wont. :)
I think bikes are more toys then anything serious. I wouldnt go as far as a bank loan for a bike. not worth it.
THis bieks been up for a while. It is winter and a lot of people jsut arent loooking for bikes. Maybe if and when i get some cash. This bike will still be around cause the ads been up for about 2 weeks now starting at 8500 now down to 7500.
Buy a Gixxer for a fraction of the price and put "Ducati 848" stickers on the side. 99.99% of the population of planet earth wouldn't know the difference. [cheeky]
nothing wrong with taking a loan out for a toy. you probably do it more often than you think...
i just bought a tv on a credit card... technically that was a loan...

There's all sorts of things wrong with a loan for a toy. How can you possibly justify putting yourself into debt for something you don't need in the slightest?

There's a lot wrong with borrowing money for toys. HD doesn't agree, in fact the opposite. HD
has used to have quite a thing going with subprime loans to people that couldn't get loans elsewhere to help sell their
bikes toys.
OK, wrote the sentence and then had to go back and fix it up.
Buying the TV isn't a necessity. However, i bet that you intend to pay it back within in the month because using a CC gives you certain advantages such as getting points, or protection plans, etc.
I dont have 8grand. And I may not even get any money from the insurance company. So buying it is stupid because id have a 8grand loan on top of my head when I can just ride my monster, or take the train.
Now if you want to personally loan me 8grand, thats a different story. How about it? :-* ;D I Promise ill pay it back. lol

But that is the American way!
is this one almost ready for nmc? or can we merge the five or six similar threads related to it?
I honestly hated my 848, but I don't ride like the 848 needs to be ridden, which IMO means going to the track. The honeymoon was great, then I tried to commute on it a few times. Even on rides around town, the heat and riding position were unbearable. Maybe I'm not the right height. Maybe I'm too conservative. Maybe I should stick to fat-guy bikes.
I hated that bike.
found another one.
